Hanns Sperling – SweMaint’s new Production manager

As of 1 February 2018, Hanns Sperling will take over as production manager of SweMaint, Northern Europe’s leading supplier of maintenance and repair services for rail freight wagons. Hanns has held this position in an interim capacity since the summer of 2017 with the title of production coordinator. He has a strong background with SweMaint and affiliated companies as well as prior experience with Kockums Submarine Systems and Kockums Pacific Ltd.

Hanns Sperling is a project manager, production engineer and systems manager in hydraulics, braking systems, propulsion and programmable logic controllers (PLC). Prior to serving as interim production manager, Hanns was welding manager IWE for the company’s new Customer and Technology department, which was created by merging the previous marketing and production departments in an effort to enhance customer focus and business process efficiency.

Hanns’s area of responsibility as Production Manager will encompass all of Sweden as SweMaint’s workshops are located at strategic railway hubs throughout Sweden. His time will mainly be divided between the head office in Gothenburg and the wagon workshop in Malmö.
