ABOUT SWEMAINT

Service and maintenance
for the only sustainable land
transport option

SweMaint is Northern Europe’s leading supplier of maintenance and repair services for wagon owners and other rail freight operators. Our goal is to promote rail freight as the strongest and most competitive choice for land transport – it has already been the most sustainable ever since the invention of the railway. We achieve this goal by keeping our customers' freight wagons rolling 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in line with our motto: less wagon downtime = more profit.

Our service offering is complete, and our workshops are strategically located at Sweden’s major railway nodes from Malmö in the south to Kiruna in the north. Our workshop locations provide preventive wagon maintenance, wheel maintenance, corrective repairs and a nearly complete supply of materials. We also offer wheel supply programmes at 30 unique locations. Together, this ensures short lead times. In addition, we have 40 mobile workshops on standby for urgent corrective maintenance out on the rails and effective 24/7 salvage and clearance. We provide these services as a subcontractor for the Swedish Transport Administration and other entities.

SweMaint has been in business since 1905, and our extensive experience combined with the systematic development of our offering gives us a unique position in the industry.
