10,000 wheels for Christmas!

On 18 December, SweMaint's wheel workshop in Gothenburg passed the milestone of 10,000 reprocessed wheels in 2023! The recipe behind the success and what makes the workshop Scandinavia's largest for freight wagon wheels is an increased demand for freight wagon transport, a fantastic collaboration with customers, suppliers and partners combined with joint dedication. Based in Gothenburg, the company boasts sales of around SEK 400 million and has around 250 employees in 12 workshops at Sweden’s major rail nodes. SweMaint AB has been owned by Malmö-based Kockums Industrier since 2007.
